Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 – World Premiere Coverage

It’s the beginning of the end.

Written by Zen Terrelonge

For on the 15th July, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 will be released on UK shores and it’s the last time one of the globally loved films will do so.

Although still six days away, possibly what will seem to be the longest wait ever encountered, I’m grateful I’m not a resident of Zimbabwe, they have the pleasure of waiting until 1st March 2012 for it’s release! Ouch.

So if you like I, were unable to attend the star-spangled, red carpet gathering last night – here’s a swish and flick of the spellbinding highlights courtesy of Warner Bros.

Or if you perhaps have a time turner like Hermione, you can view the entire three hours plus footage of the London Premiere below.

Now in the words of the late, great Albus Percival Wulfric Brian Dumbledore…

…Tuck in.

  1. A little farewell inspired by the event

The world is too big and life is too short,
You are no Harry and no Voldemort.
Not even a sidekick — bystander at best,
Watching the heroes to go on a quest.

Exit the theater, close the book,
Hear one more sound, take one more look.
It felt so real, but magic is gone
You are not Chosen, you are just one.

    • Happiness can be found even in the darkest of times, if one only remembers to turn on the light
      Written by Zen Terrelonge

My dear unmasked, life is short that is true,
But rejoice in the magic, it’s pure through and through.

For a decade we’ve grown, we’ve laughed and we’ve cried,
Sadness consumed us, when characters died.

Live with the light, HP’s gone not forgotten.
Don’t yield to the darkness, don’t be so downtrodden.

Poetic your words are, but where is the love?
We’re in this together, condemn none of us.

Believe in the books, be free, mind explore.
Don’t turn your back now, don’t close that door.

Inside us there’s magic, of that I agree
It’s also created for you and for me.

More than one kind, more than just two.
Magic is everywhere, for me and for you.
