The African Cats UK premiere takes place tomorrow night – Wednesday 25th April 2012.

It’s an extra special affair as royals Prince William and Princess Kate will be in attendance, which will mark their second film premiere this year, following on from War Horse back in January.

Sir Patrick Stewart – uber calm telepath Professor Charles Xavier in X-Men – narrates the documentary set on the African savanna, which is based around lion cub Mara, cheetah and single mother of five newborns, Sita, and Fang, a proud leader of the pride who must defend his family from a rival lion and his sons.

Fancy attending the Royal Premiere of African Cats? Head to the BFI @ 4pm tomorrow as Disney will be giving away four pairs of tickets to fans who come along to the premiere dressed in all their finery with a touch of cat on them or their kid (animal print, face-painted kids – that kind of thing). Think Simba or Mufasa!

Check out the trailer below.

African Cats is release in cinemas on 27th April.
