Unless you’ve been too busy consumed in your secret identity over the past week, a result of destroying a city or similar, you’ll be well aware that the San Diego Comic-Con 2015 took place from 8th-12th July.
The celebration of all things superhero and sci-fi brought with it a number of delightful revelations, including an all-new trailer to Batman vs Superman, which offered first looks at Jesse Eisenberg and Gal Gadot in action as Lex Luthor and Wonder Woman/Diana Prince.
It also saw sister movie Suicide Squad have its exclusive trailer leaked online, which resulted in Warner Bros admitting defeat to officially release the trailer to the Jared Leto, Margot Robbie and Will Smith-led flick.
Sue Kroll, president worldwide marketing and international distribution, Warner Bros. Pictures, said: “Warner Bros. Pictures and our anti-piracy team have worked tirelessly over the last 48 hours to contain the Suicide Squad footage that was pirated from Hall H on Saturday. We have been unable to achieve that goal. Today we will release the same footage that has been illegally circulating on the web, in the form it was created and high quality with which it was intended to be enjoyed.
“We regret this decision as it was our intention to keep the footage as a unique experience for the Comic Con crowd, but we cannot continue to allow the film to be represented by the poor quality of the pirated footage stolen from our presentation.”
It wasn’t just film news that was revealed, however, with details on The Walking Dead, Game of Thrones and more also revealed.
