The Sunday Times Rich List has crowned Daniel Radcliffe as the richest British actor aged under 30, with a desirable net worth of £54 million, which is up from £48 million in 2011, driven by his stint in The Woman in Black.

Meanwhile, Radcliffe is followed by Twilight star – and former Harry Potter co-star – Robert Pattinson, who has a stash of £40 million thanks to his lead role in the teenage vampire series as Edward Cullen, while Keira Knightley bags £30 million to secure the third spot, the same figure as last year.

Unsurprisingly, Radcliffe’s Harry Potter label mates Emma Watson and Rupert Grint who played the respective roles of Hermione Granger and Ron Weasley are also on the list, securing fifth and six place, with £26 million and £24 million.

It seems the list has started to clutch at straws towards the end however, including Girls Aloud singers Kimberly Walsh and Sarah Harding to make up the top ten with models Lily Cole and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley Clearly, the term actor has been used loosely.

The Sunday Times Rich List 2012 is to be published on 29th April.
