The Hunger Games hits cinemas today – although some previewed it last night – so to mark the day of reaping, I’ve assembled all manner of posters, behind the scenes images and stills from the film, ready and waiting for those of you that can’t see it until this evening, or alternatively have no idea what it’s about.

The film is set in the near future, the America we know and love has fallen, and in its place lies a war torn country divided into 12 districts.

Once a year, each district must submit two minors – one male and one female – to compete in The Hunger Games, a televised event that pits competitors against each other in a fight to the death.
